Dear Friend of Miracle Farms,
This Sunday, July 18 is our first open day of the season! We will be open from 8:30 until 4 (heat of summer hours). It’s peak small fruit season (FREE Black Currants, Red Currants, some gooseberries (birds got much of it!!). Yes FREE Black Currants. Some greens: Egyptian onions, perennial arugula, fresh garlic, herbs (chives, garlic chives, thyme, rosemary and some smart or sage) and cut flowers (bring a container for the trip home). Last minute update: early apples (Lodi – a sourish green apple – great if you like granny smith)
Things are slowly going forward to pre-covid reality. The tree fruit crops look amazing. LOT’S of Apples coming, medium plum and medium pear crops coming as well.
Membership is first-come, first-serve and we want to make sure you get a spot. (Note we will limit the number of members to 100 households.
Members get a $20 voucher to use for U-Pick: apples, pears, plums, small fruits, or greens. The opportunity to visit the farm on our members-only days, and we have one food or non-food item for free during every open day.
We have orchard run hen EGGS this year, and you can purchase that too (limit 3 dozen per member).
We are delighted to have you and your loved ones in our “family” of members.
For more information, here is our latest membership information, open days, tour days, registration instructions, and directions.
MIRACLE FARMS is a members only u-pick farm. Only members can come pick fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
We try to also have some items for sale in a small kiosk, especially on our members’ days when we have an over-abundance of those products (tree fruit).
Our prices tend to be similar to conventional grocery store prices but much lower than organic prices. Our foods are beyond organic therefore we are no longer certified organic.
Here’s how it works :
Membership is for the current growing season. A membership fee of $60 entitles you to:
- $20 voucher to be used for any U-Pick food in the year and
- at least one food or non-food item for free during every open day.
In prior years, we gave away small fruit, chives, garlic chives, herbs, flowers and lot’s of apples at different times of the growing season.
- You can attend our open days to come relax at the farm, have a picnic, read a book, take a walk, have a nap, meet amazing people who care about the food they eat or pick whatever is available that day. You don’t have to purchase anything during open days and we often have something free based on whatever is abundant that month.
- Membership applies to everyone at one address. You can bring friends and family for open days.
We will send a monthly email reminder to members of the open days and what will be harvested.
